04. Where are your cookie cutters made?

Each Cookie Cutters Lab design is proudly made in Rethymno, Greece, using precision FDM 3D printers.

We use food-contact-safe materials sourced from the EU, and our experienced team carefully maintains every printer to ensure exceptional quality and consistency in every cutter.


05. What material do you use for your cookie cutters?

Our cookie cutters are made from PLA (Polylactic Acid), an eco-friendly and biodegradable material suitable for food contact.

PLA is derived from renewable plant-based sources such as corn and is ideal for use with dough, combining safety, sustainability, and precision.


06. Are your cookie cutters safe for food contact?

Yes. Our cookie cutters are made from high-quality PLA and are intended for short-term food contact.

Due to the natural layered texture of 3D-printed products, we recommend the following best practices for safe and hygienic use:

07. How durable are your 3D-printed cookie cutters?

Our cookie cutters are sturdy and well-suited for regular use with dough. However, as they are made from plastic, we recommend avoiding excessive pressure, which may cause damage or breakage.

Absolutely! Our cookie cutters are also suitable for creative projects such as cutting fondant, clay, or for various DIY and crafting uses.

If used with non-food materials, please ensure they are thoroughly cleaned before using them again with food.

Store your cookie cutters in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Proper storage helps maintain their shape and quality over time.

We currently support payments in EUR and USD.

If your local currency is different, PayPal or Google Pay may automatically convert the amount at the applicable exchange rate set by your provider.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number.

15. Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?

Yes. Your satisfaction matters to us. If you’re not happy with your purchase and the shipping period has passed, please reach out via our contact form.

16. Can I return or cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been shipped, you may request a cancellation by contacting us via our contact form.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible. If you are a registered member, you can submit a cancellation request (cancellation note) directly from your account, allowing us to review your order and assist you with the cancellation.

Due to the nature of our products, custom-made and made-to-order items are not eligible for returns, unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.

For standard (non-custom) items, returns may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us before sending anything back.


17. What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible using our contact form.

Please include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging so we can quickly review the issue.

Prices shown include applicable VAT, in accordance with EU regulations.

Non-EU countries:
Prices do not include local VAT, GST, or import taxes. These may be charged by your local customs authority upon delivery and are the buyer’s responsibility.

We always ship with accurate customs declarations and valid HS tariff codes to help ensure correct tax assessment.


19. Do you make custom designs?

We accept custom design requests that meet the following criteria:

20. Transparency & craftsmanship

All designs are created by us using open-source software such as Inkscape and OpenSCAD.

All product photos are real — we never use renderings. What you see is exactly what you receive.

Measurement grids shown in our images are in centimeters (1 inch = 2.5 cm).

Our cookie cutters are produced using DIY, open-source 3D printers, built and maintained entirely by our team.


21. Will I be charged customs or import fees?

Europe: No customs or import fees apply.

United States: No customs fees if you select DHL DDP shipping — we handle customs for you.

Other countries: Local import duties or taxes may apply.
We ship all orders with accurate CN22/CN23 customs declarations and valid HS tariff codes to help customs authorities assess the correct import duties.
Any such charges are determined by local authorities and are the buyer’s responsibility.


22. Do you offer discounts or wholesale options?

We offer discounts for bulk orders, but we don’t provide wholesale pricing for resale.

Whether you need 100 or more cookie cutters, all in one design, mix or sets, we’re happy to arrange a special bulk discount.
